Design and Construction Management

Design

Trail-Works follows national standards and accepted practices in the design of trails. Though we are not licensed engineers, we have over thirty years experience in design and engineering of parks and trails. Where the administering agency requires sealed drawings, we can act as your agent to employ a consulting engineer and oversee their work to insure that their trail design meets your expectations; or we can provide the engineer to provide the sealed drawings. Trail-Works is also experienced in developing design/build projects. These projects have a history of lower pricing than traditional design, bid, build projects.

Construction Management

Trail-Works has 40 years of construction management experience. We can insure that your trail is going to get built correctly to last for years. We know the best equipment to use and the best methods to employ to provide a quality product. We follow each project closely to keep quantities in line and to prevent excessive change orders and cost overruns. Our history of cost overruns is less than 3% and many come in under budget and under contract amount.
