Welcome to Trail-Works. We are a small company dedicated to helping groups and communities make their dreams of a trail a pleasant reality in their lives. The recreational trail movement began in the early 1980’s. The Rails To Trails Conservancy became a national advocate for converting unused railroad corridors into recreational trails. In those early days, like any new concept, there was resistance and opposition from many neighbors. Today, as our society looks to be more environmentally friendly and be more health conscious, trails are not only accepted but desired by more and more people and communities. Trail-Works can assist you from formulating your ideas through the planning, design and construction processes. We can even help you develop a maintenance program to keep your trail in top condition. Trail-Works uses a practical approach in planning, design and construction. We talk in layman terms and can help you unravel the mystery of engineering drawings. At the same time, we can develop plans and specifications that engineers and contractors will understand and be able to carry out.
